- Classes can range from 6-8 people and can be done locally in my workshop (North Grafton, mA)
- All materials are included so that you will have a beautiful, unique serving board of your very own.
- Class will run about 2 - 2.5hrs
I've never use woodworking tools in my life, how am I going to know what to do??
All wood pieces will be pre-cut and prepped for your epoxy molds, no cutting required. You just choose the pieces you like and arrange them in the mold! I will show you how to prepare the epoxy as well.

Am I going to be able to leave with my board after the class?
No, depending on the thickness of the epoxy, it will need about 2-3 days to properly cure. At that time I will remove them from the molds, cut them to size, plane/sand them smooth and apply a food grade oil finish. From the time you finish the class, most boards should be ready for pick up around 7-10 days.
Any add ons you choose may take additional time to complete.

What do I bring with me to class?
Just bring your creativity! I will have gloves and an apron for everyone, but I would recommend not wearing any overly nice clothes, epoxy is not that forgiving! There is little to no odor with epoxy but I have some face masks if you are sensitive to smells. Note that my workshop is NOT air conditioned/heated so in the colder months, bring a sweatshirt or jacket. The Rest of the basement is heated/AC where you can have drinks and apps. I also have an outdoor patio with an outdoor fireplace you can enjoy if the weather permits.

how do i care for my boards?
You want to make sure you use a food safe product. You can use straight mineral oil or you can use a bees wax/oil as well. Do not put in the dishwasher, you can gently hand wash if needed.
I also sell my own "wood butter" too! :)
